Join our supportive leisure team whose job it is to help people live their best lives — whether they're on holiday, visiting an attraction or treating loved ones to a special experience.

This role is a permanent full-time position, during the day to work in with event planning and customer enquiries. Some nights and weekends are required occasionally for this role depending on business requirements.

A day in the life
As part of our Conference and Events team you will play a role in bringing the clients visions to life, through planning and coordinating during the lead up to events. With a focus for this role on corporate events and weddings, the resort also plays host to social events, exhibitions, dinners etc.

This will range from producing event orders, working with the onsite team as well as third party suppliers to ensure a successful outcome for client events. You'll be involved in event coordination through liaising with clients to determine event details and offering advice, to reporting client feedback. You will prepare accurate and timely invoices and ensure RACV policies, standards and procedures are adhered to at all times.

You will be supported by your team and work closely with a broad range of internal departments and external clients.

We're looking for…

* Previous experience with administration and supplier liaison desirable
* An understanding of hospitality industry in event, membership or accommodation areas
* An interest in the world of events
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Opera desirable
* Effective customer management and service standards
* A team player who displays initiative and a positive mindset
* High quality of work and attention to detail
