What's the role?
As a Bank Manager, you'll be the head and heart of a frontline banking team that loves to exceed the expectations of local customers, whilst playing a hands-on role in a community you're proud to call your own.
Inspiring a team of customer service, sales, and business specialists, you'll set the standard for the Westpac Group experience – and it'll be an exceptional experience at that You'll be the driving force behind your branch's success – holding financial, risk, and operational accountability – ensuring customer advocacy is at the heart of all you and your team do. You will recruit, coach, and elevate your team to deliver a superior banking experience, ultimately contributing to the branch's, and our customers', success.
This is a full-time, branch-based role based in Wangaratta.
What will I need?
* Strong leadership experience, ideally gained in a Retail Banking environment (preferred, not essential)
* Proven experience of holding accountability for risk and compliance, staff performance, and customer experience
* High-energy, with an ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
* Experience of working to fulfill business performance targets and spur growth
* Ability to effectively de-escalate and address challenging situations by using strong communication and problem-solving skills
