About the Job
There is an exciting opportunity with the Shire of Esperance for a Customer Service / Licensing Officer. The Customer Service / Licensing Officer acts as the first point of contact for the public in regard to general customer service enquires, receipting of monies and transport licensing transactions, assist with other finance related duties.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Responding to all customer service enquires including telephone and counter enquires
* Process Department of Transport Transactions and issue receipts
* Assist with filing of receipts, licenses, permits and creditor's vouchers
This is a fixed-term 2-year contract working 38 hours per week.
About you
In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have:
* Working knowledge of cash receipting procedures
* Sound customer service skills
* Computer literacy and sound keyboard skills
Benefits
Salary: $70, per annum
Permanent staff are entitled to:
* 5 weeks annual leave per year
* The option of one Rostered Day Off (RDO) every 4 weeks in exchange for working 40 hours per week.
