Typical Crown Technician Tasks and Duties
* Conduct customer‐focused scheduled and breakdown services
* Assist in the preparation of field‐based quotes for customers through the completion of jobs
* Record notes and file service records appropriately – provide high‐level customer service to address customers' material handling needs
* Access industry‐leading training and development, and grade progression opportunities, including training less experienced service technicians in more complex aspects of service and repair work in the field
* Maintain up‐to‐date technical knowledge, including emerging technologies in automation and telematics
* Keep up‐to‐date with industry trends, new products and services
* Partner with the company and maximise additional sales and service across a dedicated customer base
Requirements
* Prior experience as a forklift mechanic or service technician is highly regarded but not essential
* Ability to perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs
* Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
* Excellent problem‐solving skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and customer service skills
