Job Overview
Residential Care Worker position in Clare, South Australia. Provides personal care services to residents, supporting their dignity, choice and independence.
Key Responsibilities
* Support residents to live with dignity, choice and independence.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including nurses, allied health, lifestyles and hotel services.
* Deliver connected, personalised and considerate personal care aligned with Helping Hand's service ethos.
* Maintain the privacy rights of residents.
* Participate in learning activities to improve understanding of resident needs.
Requirements
* Certificate III in Aged Care or studying towards a nursing qualification with completed placement stages.
* Good communication skills, both spoken and written.
* Minimum of 6-12 months experience as a care worker, ideally in an aged care setting.
* Ability to operate smartphones and apps (e.g., Microsoft Outlook).
* Valid NDIS worker screening check or willingness to obtain it.
Desirable Additional Qualifications
* Previous experience in aged care sector.
* Teamwork ability.
* Independent decision making and initiative.
* Current First Aid certificate.
