Bauhinia Health are currently seeking an experienced GP Locum to provide cover in their private practice located in Katherine, Northern Territory. Bauhinia Health's vision is to provide best practice, patient centred primary health care to all. They believe that being a GP is a valuable specialty at the forefront of our Australian health system.
* Mixed billing Private Practice
* $1250 per day rate
* Placement available July 2024 ongoing – 3-4 weeks minimum

Eligibility to Apply
* Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)
* Current non restricted specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Experienced in Medicare billing.
About Katherine
The thriving town of Katherine is a three-hour drive south of Darwin. The town is situated on the banks of the Katherine River and has a population of around 10,000 people while the larger Katherine region has a population of just over 24,000.
Katherine is well equipped as a regional town with a shopping centre and main street that feature a supermarket and specialty shops. Katherine is on the edge of Kakadu and Nitmuluk National Parks providing plenty of opportunity to experience outdoor adventures on the weekends.
