Software Co is seeking a
UX Design Lead
to take ownership of user experience across a portfolio of world-class digital platforms. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who thinks in systems, obsesses over clarity, and understands how great design directly drives product adoption, growth, and long-term value.
At Software Co, we build AI-native platforms, enterprise-grade software, and venture-backed products used across healthcare, construction, finance, retail, and emerging industries. We work with founders and operators who care deeply about execution, and we expect the same from our design leaders.
The Role
As UX Design Lead, you will define and elevate the user experience standard across all Software Co products and client platforms. You will work closely with founders, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex workflows into elegant, intuitive experiences.

Key Responsibilities
* Own and drive the end-to-end UX vision across multiple web and mobile platforms
* Lead user research, journey mapping, and usability testing to inform design decisions
* Design and evolve scalable design systems and UX frameworks
* Translate product strategy and business objectives into clear, intuitive user flows
* Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure design intent is executed to a high standard
* Mentor and guide designers, setting best practices and raising the overall quality bar
* Advocate for user-centred design at every stage of planning and delivery
What We're Looking For
* 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with experience in complex or enterprise platforms
* Proven ability to lead UX across large, multi-module digital products
* Strong portfolio demonstrating system thinking, problem-solving, and measurable impact
* Deep understanding of UX research, information architecture, and interaction design
* High proficiency with modern design tools (Figma preferred)
* Ability to communicate design rationale clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Experience working closely with engineering teams in agile product environments
