The Opportunity:
This role involves supporting a customer with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life. Responsibilities include:
* Providing assistance with everyday daily activities around the home
* Offering support with hygiene and personal care needs
* Assistance with activities outside the home environment, including chaperoning and support
* Assisting with medication compliance, including prescription medication dispensation
* Meal assistance, including meal preparation
Flexible Shifts Available:
Shifts are available on Sundays (3:30-5:30 pm), Fridays fortnightly (6 pm - 8 am), Thursdays fortnightly (7:30 am - 2 pm), and other shifts as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support
* A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance
* At least one year of experience as a Disability Support Worker
* NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months), and National police clearance, or willingness to obtain
