Scope
A Records & Information Management Consultant delivers RecordPoint managed service offerings and provides records and information management best practice guidance to customers. You will advocate for customers to ensure the most accurate and effective use of the RecordPoint Platform to achieve their compliance objectives. This role is part of RecordPoint’s Professional Services team and aligns with our value of customer success and lasting partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Represent RecordPoint as a Records Management and Information Governance Subject Matter Expert
- Engage with customers to guide them through adopting the RecordPoint platform
- Build relationships and instill trust with clients regarding our Services team and the RecordPoint Platform
- Stay up to date on trends in Records Management, Information Governance, and AI advances
- Troubleshooting/logging tickets in the company ticketing system and providing progress updates to clients
- Client Engagement: become a trusted advisor, understand business goals, gather requirements, and solve problems
- Define technical requirements and solutions with RecordPoint; understand success criteria and ROI
- Solution Design/Architecture: create and maintain standard designs, provide best practices, and ensure solutions are scalable and maintainable
- Implementation, Migration and Integration: resolve issues during deployment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Training and Documentation: train customers and team members; create user guides and update documentation for new product launches
- Communication and Project Management: drive multiple initiatives to completion, define concepts with users, and provide status updates to project managers
- Pre-sales involvement: contribute to scoping engagements, Statements of Work, tenders, and RFx as needed
You'll bring
- Experience or Certification in Records Management, Business Information Systems, or Data Cyber Security
- 3-5 years of experience implementing SharePoint and ECM/EDRMS solutions
- 1+ years in a client-facing consulting role or substantial customer service background
