About the job:
We are a small friendly team and are rapidly growing because of the amazing service we provide.
We are looking for Senior Cleaner/Caretaker to join our crew.
As our Senior Cleaner/Caretaker you will create living environments where people thrive by creating and maintaining well-kept, safe and enjoyable internal areas for the residents of apartment buildings.
Working primarily in the inner Melbourne and Bayside area, you will visit our clients' properties weekly or fortnightly to clean and maintain their indoor common areas.
We are looking for someone with ninja level cleaning skills who is a team player and interested in stepping into a leadership role in time.
Much of our work is done in teams of two but you need to be confident to work solo shifts. We visit multiple properties per day. Expect between hours work a week (depending on your needs) in 4 - 6 hour shifts.
Responsibilities:
Working as a Care Crew Caretaker will involve:
* Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, wiping and glass cleaning to maintain indoor common areas to a high standard.
* Observing and reporting any issues with the building or grounds
* Working in a team to perform periodical cleaning and maintenance tasks such as deep cleaning tiles, washing walls, hedge trimming, lawn maintenance.
* Supervising and checking other team member's work
* Performing simple repairs and maintenance tasks such as replacing lightbulbs
* Using and maintaining power tools and garden machinery such as mowers, trimmers and blowers safely & effectively to look after the garden & grounds.
* Ocassionally placing bins out for collection and bringing them in again

You do need to:
* Have ninja level cleaning skills and experience in commercial cleaning, preferrably strata/body corporate.
* Be physically fit and active
* Have the right to work in Australia
* Have a current driver's license and own vehicle
* Have current Police check
* Be fluent in English
And if you have experience in any of the following, that would be a big plus:
* Tile cleaning
* Window cleaning
* Pressure washing
* Basic DIY skills: Practical ability & experience in household repairs & maintenance
