Every day, we help our customers solve complex challenges by safely managing materials that could otherwise spread disease, contaminate the environment, or compromise identity.Join us on our mission to protect health and well-being in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.Position Purpose:Under supervision, the Inside Sales Representative acquires new customers, upgrades, or converts current customer accounts from transactional waste-only service to value-added service offerings. The role involves obtaining incremental revenue through sales calls, lead campaigns, and prospecting. Sells value-added services such as online OSHA portals and training to assist with compliance, as well as medical waste collection for high-value LQG affiliated customers.The Inbound Sales Rep will report to our Bannockburn office 4 days per week.Key Job Activities:Receives inbound calls & emails from prospective & existing customers to sell Stericycle's services and/or products. Uses consultative selling strategies to meet or exceed 100% of revenue and quota goals.Builds a pipeline of potential future business through prospecting via marketing/lead campaigns, territory lists, the Internet, and other sources.Researches and verifies prospects using the CRM system, ensuring proper account assignment and documentation of special circumstances, including cross-territory opportunities.Uses internet and other resources to understand clients' industries and needs.Meets or exceeds performance metrics such as outbound calls, close rates, order size, and sales cycle management. Tracks all lead and opportunity details.Forecasts monthly and quarterly sales within 5% of actual results.Targets upgrade and cross-sell opportunities for additional Stericycle products/services.Uses CRM tools effectively for lead follow-up, pipeline management, forecasting, and tracking lost opportunities, maintaining accurate notes.Qualifies clients through consultative strategies.Supports other projects and duties as assigned.Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Sales/Marketing or equivalent work experience.2+ years in sales/marketing, managing and developing accounts.Experience in customer relations, support, and leadership abilities.Ability to learn company billing/customer database software and product features.Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM knowledge preferred.Knowledge of OSHA regulations or healthcare industry is preferred.Pursuant to IL salary posting requirements, hourly $21.64-$22.70 OTE - $81k-$85k, uncapped commission.Stericycle offers a comprehensive benefits package including health care, flexible spending accounts, insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, 401(k), and stock purchase plans.
