School Crossing Supervisor – Casual – Wagga Local Government Area

Responsibilities
- Become a Road Safety Hero that is held in high esteem in our communities and vital to the safety of our kids, parents, teachers and local motorists.
- Grow to be a much-loved familiar face around the school with a unique opportunity to touch the lives of countless families.
- This is a casual position which will provide relief at sites in the Wagga Local Government Area. Shifts may fall between the school zone hours 8.00–9.30 AM and 2.30–4.00 PM, with a minimum of one hour shift as required Monday to Friday during the school term.
- Receive an hourly rate along with superannuation.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Applicants must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment. All training, uniforms and equipment will be provided.
- Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment is vital due to working with children on roads. Assistance will be provided through the process. If you already have a Working with Children Check, that will speed up the process.

- If successful, you will progress to pre-employment checks.

- Applicants who pass the interview may be considered for a permanent part-time position if a vacancy arises.
- A Talent Pool may be created for current and future casual and permanent part-time positions over the next 18 months.
