Galvins Plumbing Supplies is a family-owned Western Australian company founded in 1933 with 25 branches across Western Australia and the Northern Territory. We are currently looking for a
Truck Driver (MR)
to join our Mandurah branch. There may be career progression opportunities with experience.
Responsibilities
Transport goods to and from various locations, ensuring punctual delivery
Complete all documentation related to deliveries
Select the appropriate route to deliver products
Provide an exceptional delivery service experience to all customers
Manoeuvre the truck into position and assist with loading or unloading by hand or forklift
Ensure goods are safely secured and easily accessible
Perform regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure safe operation
Estimate weights to comply with load limitations and distribute weight safely
Verify loading documents, inspect goods, and obtain delivery certifications
Order picking, packing, inward stock, and order checking when required
Assist with other tasks as directed by branch management

Ability to work in a team environment
Attention to detail and organisational skills
C Class and MR manual license

Qualifications
Experience as a truck driver (MR) or relevant driving background
Manual transmission driving experience (including possible manual vehicle licensure)
Ability to work collaboratively in a team
