Role
Currently reporting to one of the Directors, you will lead the rooms division across both Lake House and Dairy Flat Lodge — overseeing front office, housekeeping, houseman and reservations, with responsibility for the seamless, consistent and beautifully executed delivery that defines the Lake House stay. This is a hands‐on leadership role, on the floor, in the rooms and in the detail, building a team that operates with pride, precision and warmth.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a senior rooms or front office leadership role within a luxury property.
* A genuine feel for service: what it looks like, what it feels like, and what separates the good from the exceptional.
* Strong people leadership – recruit well, develop your team with intention, and hold high standards with warmth.
* Financial discipline: cost control, labour management and budget ownership across your departments.
* Confident with systems – PMS, reservations platforms, rostering and reporting tools.
* Calm under pressure, clear in communication, and honest in all directions.
* An appreciation for the culture of a family business: its history, its values and its way of doing things.
