Payroll Manager- Parental Leave Contract

We're looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to work within our Sydney Studio as part of our National Finance Department.
Please note this is a 12-month Parental Leave Replacement.
About the role:
The Payroll Manager will lead national payroll operations and ensure compliance across multiple studios. This role is critical in delivering accurate, timely payroll and supporting our people through every stage of employment.
Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-end payroll processing based on fortnightly payroll summaries
* Report on highlights of each fortnightly payroll
* Manage leave, parental leave, bonuses, and termination payments
* Ensure compliance with Fair Work, PAYG, payroll tax, workers' compensation, and superannuation regulations
* Oversee audits, reconciliations, and reporting (including STP and GL postings)
* Assist in review of Awards rates and liaising with all studios twice a year (January and July)
* Maintain all aspects of employee master data
* Provide training, resolve payroll queries, and keep processes up to date
* Keep up to date with Aurion ongoing updates
Experience:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll processing in larger payroll systems (e.g. Preceda / ADP / Aurion etc)
* At least 1 year experience in Aurion
* Experience working with medium to large size entities
* Experience with Super, Payroll Tax, Workers' comp
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment where no two pay fortnights are alike.
