Now we're looking for a Warehouse Co‑ordinator to join our team and help us continue creating snacks that Australians love.
Our Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for directing and coordinating warehouse operators and activities including receiving, storage and inventory control to ensure customer needs are met on time and in full.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Co‑ordinator will use Netsuite and RF Smart combined with their great people skills and attentional to detail to ensure inventory is in the right place at the right time, ensuring production can continue 24/6 without interruption.
Familiarity with any ERP and Warehouse Management software will be an advantage. We are looking for the right person, with a great attitude, excellent ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
How do you achieve this? (Responsibilities)
* Coordinate loading and unloading of inventory
* Oversee the receipt, checking and verification of inventory
* Ensure proper storage and allocation of received inventory
* Confirm the accuracy and quality of inventory being loaded for dispatch and transfer to factory
* Coordinate internal stock transfers
* Assist in the development and maintain procedures for inventory management
* Monitor and control inventory including counts, reconciling with inventory systems
* Ensure cycle counts are completed on time and accurately and deviations reported
* Coach, train and develop warehouse workers
* Motivate staff to ensure high performing teams
* Maintain staff productivity and quality standards
* Develop and implement cost saving measures
* Liaise with other departments including production, purchasing and logistics to coordinate warehouse activities
* Develop and maintain good working relationships between the warehouse and other departments
* Monitor and maintain physical condition of the warehouse and equipment
* Ensure all housekeeping duties are completed to maintain safe and orderly work areas
* Monitor and enforce warehouse safety and hygiene standards
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
* Ensure best practices are followed in all areas of responsibility
