With an ever-growing remote team of over 50 staff, we bring exciting and interesting travel news 24/7 from around the globe to a reach of over 20 million users.

Our mission to change how travel is seen involves showing people how to make their journeys as fulfilling as possible through providing the latest news and how to improve journey quality.

**Job Description**:

- Collect, verify and analyze newsworthy information
- Assemble findings into a stable story
- Write and deliver news stories with the reader's perspective in mind
- Optimise articles for web (SEO)
- Receive assignments or investigate news leads/tips
- Abide by journalism's ethics and codes
- Contact, interview and research sources
- Maintain notes and audio recordings
- Cooperate with reporters, executive editor, and other editorial members and departments
- Stay up-to-date with the latest current events in the "beat" by studying papers, attending events etc.
- Maintain a high standard of communication

We're on the lookout for a driven self-starter with a passion for aviation and journalism. You might be a Bachelor's student fresh out of Uni looking for an exciting work experience, an experienced writer looking to tackle a new challenge, an AvGeek that loves the community, or perhaps a current student looking to learn on the job and get stuck in. Regardless of your background, if this sounds like a good fit, we'd love to hear from you

**Qualifications**:
Prefered Skills:

- Previous writing experience is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of CMS systems, preferably WordPress
- Good grasp of journalism ethics and codes
- Good grammar and a high level of English proficiency
