Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Fitter to join our team. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for completing all facets of fitting works on time, in full and to standard, while striving for continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in marine/ship repair or heavy industry, with experience in conducting fitting tasks as directed, inspecting and testing mechanical systems, and recording critical measurements and data.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform fitting tasks as directed, adhering to supplied work packs and job tickets
* Inspect and test mechanical systems, ensuring they meet required standards
* Record critical measurements and data during the process of undertaking mechanical refurbishment works
* Work within required time frames, informing supervisor immediately if unachievable
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Able to perform work in a safe and acceptable manner
* Ability to use standard tools and equipment related to the trade
* White Card
* HR Licenses - Forklift / Confined Space
* First Aid / EWP
* Previous experience in Marine/Ship repair or Heavy Industry
