About the Role:
* Develop and implement case plans to support young carers in achieving their goals.
* Facilitate fun, skill-building group activities and school holiday programs that promote socialization and emotional well-being.
* Establish and maintain relationships with community services and organizations to ensure young people have access to necessary resources.
* Advocate for young carers and help them navigate life's challenges through empathy and guidance.
* Promote the program at schools and community events to raise awareness and engage new participants.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Community Services (or Diploma + extensive experience).
* Experience in case management, youth work, or community services with a focus on trauma-informed practice.
* Strong communication, group facilitation, and advocacy skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
* A current Working with Vulnerable People Check and Driver's Licence.
