* Location: Cavan (SA)
* Shift: PM shift
* Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm
Responsibilities
Based in our manufacturing site at Cavan, this role will report to the Maintenance Manager and you will be actively involved in projects and continuous improvement of operations to reduce waste and equipment downtime. You will also work on improving the performance against line efficiency and run rates affected by unplanned downtime due to breakdowns.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food processing equipment and manufacturing GMP, as well as HACCP and WHS principles and practices. You will have a strong work ethic and an enthusiastic attitude towards service delivery.
About you
* Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, preferably in an FMCG environment.
* Experience welding and machining.
* Understanding of maintenance planning and computerised maintenance management systems.
* You will be good at driving results, optimising work processes, innovating and decision quality.
Qualifications
* Completed Mechanical Trade certification
