Your new role
As a Payroll Officer within the Shared Services division, you will be responsible for end‑to‑end payroll processing across a high‑volume and diverse workforce. Your duties will include:
Processing payroll cycles accurately and within required deadlinesInterpreting a range of EBAs, Awards and employment contractsResponding to payroll queries and providing excellent internal customer serviceEnsuring employee records are updated and maintainedCompleting month‑end duties including reporting, reconciliations and auditsSupporting process improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
You will bring:
Experience in a high‑volume payroll environmentStrong knowledge of payroll legislation, Awards and EBAsHigh level of accuracy and strong attention to detailExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience using large payroll systems (Chris21, Aurion, SAP, Preceda or similar)Ability to work effectively within a team
