Established in 2020, the company specialises in civil construction planning and advisory services, with a focus on residential and commercial developments. Our core services include Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, providing practical and reliable engineering solutions to support projects from design through to construction.
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering operations and support the strategic development of the business.
About the Role
As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering delivery, managing multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high technical standard. This is a senior leadership role suited to an experienced engineering professional with strong management and commercial capability. Your key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
* Leading and managing engineering teams across multiple projects
* Overseeing project planning, resourcing, budgeting, and delivery
* Providing technical leadership and reviewing engineering designs and documentation to achieve quality construction requirements
* Ensuring compliance with Australian standards, codes, quality systems and safety standards
* Supporting business development activities and client engagement
* Improving internal processes, optimise efficiency and engineering governance
* Mentoring and guiding junior and mid-level engineers
* Working closely with directors to support the long-term growth strategy of the company
Qualifications
* A recognised Engineering degree
* At least 3 years of senior management experience in the engineering or construction industry, with proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing complex projects
* Strong commercial awareness and experience at a general manager or senior leadership level
* Strong communication, client‐facing, and stakeholder management skills
* Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast‐paced consulting environment and drive continuous improvement
* Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and collaborative engineering environment
