Zoom Recruitment is seeking a Casual Sales Assistant to join our client in Mt Gambier, working around 25 hours per week. This role offers variety, a supportive team environment, and is perfect if you're looking to step away from the tools while still being hands-on.
What You'll Be Doing
* Deliver outstanding customer service in-store, over the phone, and via email
* Assist trade and industrial customers with product advice and sales
* Receive, dispatch, and manage stock while maintaining product displays
* Support promotions, upselling, and product demonstrations
* Safely handle gas cylinders and assist with yard/forklift duties
* Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant store environment
What We're Looking For
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Self-motivated and able to work in a busy retail/trade setting
* Good attention to detail with strong time management
* Basic computer skills (SAP experience an advantage)
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
* Two recent and satisfactory references
* Forklift licence (preferred) or willingness to obtain
* Experience in industrial, welding, or safety products is desirable, but full training will be provided to the right candidate
