About the role

This is a full time, fixed-term role until 30 June 2027, within Council’s Community Participation team and is based at the Dr Mackay Community Centre in Moruya. In this role, you will lead the service delivery team and manage activity administration for Community Transport, ensuring funded outputs are met and provide high-quality services that connect registered transport-disadvantaged and isolated community members.

The starting salary for this position is $70,736.73 per annum plus 12% superannuation.

About You

We’re looking for a motivated leader with a passion for supporting our community. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

Relevant qualifications in community services, aged care, transport management, or a related field – or substantial experience within the community services industry.Strong understanding of the needs of frail older people and their carers.Knowledge of the rights and responsibilities of volunteers.Proven ability to lead and supervise a team effectively.Well-developed administration skills, including system management and resource allocation, supported by excellent written and verbal with Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards, and legislation governing transport services, including experience implementing policies and procedures.
