What's the Role:
As the Service Owner, You'll be accountable for the end to end performance and lifecycle of Business Credit Cards owning strategy, financial outcomes, delivery, and governance. You'll lead a focused product team and orchestrate cross‑functional squads (Technology, Operations, Marketing and Scheme partners) to deliver change safely, on time and to high customer standards. This is a pivotal role in the Credit Cards Product team and involves working across Consumer and Business bank divisions.
The Role:
* Define and lead the strategy and commercial performance of the Business Credit Cards portfolio, owning P&L outcomes including growth, utilisation, profitability and attrition
* Drive pricing, acquisition and engagement strategies using data, customer insights and market dynamics
* Lead delivery of compelling customer value propositions, owning the product roadmap and execution of change
* Uplift customer experience and NPS by improving key customer and banker journeys across cards and payments
* Own product governance and compliance, ensuring adherence to PSL, DDO and risk obligations with clear accountability
* Act as the senior Business Cards SME, influencing executives and partnering with Technology, Operations and external schemes
* Lead, coach and develop product teams, building strong capability, data‑driven decision making and an inclusive, outcomes‑focused culture
What do I need?
* Deep product management experience in cards, payments or adjacent financial services domains, with a track record of P&L stewardship.
* Strong grasp of product lifecycle governance (e.g., PSL), regulatory settings (DDO, policy frameworks) and effective risk management.
* Exposure to payments and digital origination and servicing.
* Familiarity with product simplification in large programs.
* Proven ability to deliver complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives end‑to‑end—prioritisation, funding/business cases, execution and benefits realisation.
* Strength in commercial analytics—turning portfolio and customer insights into pragmatic strategy, pricing, and product decisions.
* Executive‑level communication and influence; comfortable setting direction, making prioritisation calls, and delivering outcomes with urgency and care.
* People leadership—coaching product managers, shaping culture, and building capability across cross‑functional teams.
* Experience in credit card product design and operations (limits, lending, servicing, disputes, collections).
