ABOUT THE ROLE
As a CNC Router or Press Brake Operator at Tommy Campers your role will see you responsible for meeting day-to-day aluminium sheet metal production requirements, assist with product improvement and various custom requirements. Your proficiency in machine operation, with strong attention to detail will ensure all Tommy Camper components are built to the highest quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate CNC Router
Operate press brake machinery to bend, shape, and form metal aluminium components
Read and interpret drawings, instructions, and work orders.
Set up machines, including selecting and installing appropriate tools and dies.
Review schedules, paperwork, materials, and cut files before starting jobs.
Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications and make adjustments as necessary.
Maintain machines including bed, blades, calibration, and cleaning.
Operate Aluminium Extrusion Saw as needed.
Work with Draftsman to update and modify CAD files.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures and contribute to our safe working environment.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Trade qualification or solid professional experience is essential.
Experience operating CNC Routers and press brakes.
Experience with file/linework manipulation on machines.
Strong attention to detail.
High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and able to work in a team environment also unsupervised.
