As an analyst in debt capital markets, you will collaborate with senior team members to provide advice and execute transactions for corporations, financial institutions, and private equity sponsors.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Originate and execute domestic and international debt capital markets transactions
- Support client pitches and negotiations by preparing market updates, pitch materials, pricing information, and case studies
- Develop trade ideas and recommendations for clients, including analysis of debt market funding options and execution considerations across alternative markets
- Assist in executing transactions, including drafting marketing materials, offering documentation, and relative value analysis
- Stay updated on local and international leveraged finance and debt capital markets trends, and communicate this through market updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Build relationships with clients at junior levels and interact with other internal and external parties on transactions
**Essential Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in economics or finance or a related field
- Prior experience working in debt capital markets/leveraged finance or a banking front office role
- Understanding of the transaction cycle and international capital markets, coupled with an execution-oriented approach
- Strong accounting, finance, quantitative, and business writing skills
- Well-rounded academic background from a top-tier educational institution
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders
