Employment Type: Permanent Part Time | Position Classification: Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 | Remuneration: $116,639.98 - $120,469.88 + Super + Salary Packaging | Hours Per Week: 16 | Requisition ID: REQ627947 | Closing Date: Monday 16 February.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to join our Neurointerventional Suite, working within a highly skilled and close-knit multidisciplinary team. This role supports a specialist service alongside three Neurointerventional doctors, two registered nurses, one Clinical Nurse Specialist, and one Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC). You will work collaboratively with Radiology and Stroke teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care across the neurointerventional pathway.

About The Role

As the Clinical Nurse Specialist – Neurointerventional, you will play a key role in coordinating clinics and supporting patients from outpatient consultation through to procedural preparation. The position requires strong clinical knowledge, organisation, and the ability to work autonomously while remaining closely connected to the broader team.

Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage neurointerventional clinics
* Prepare and set up clinics, including outpatient information and patient discussions
* Support patients pre-procedure, ensuring they are informed and prepared
* Liaise closely with Neurointerventional doctors, Radiology, and Stroke teams
* Order and manage stock and consumables for the service
* Arrange and perform required laboratory investigations
* Ensure smooth patient flow and continuity of care across services
* Contribute to a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing team environment
About You
* Registered Nurse with relevant postgraduate qualifications (or working towards)
* Previous experience in Neurointerventional nursing is strongly desirable
* Demonstrated experience working as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or in a senior nursing role
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work across multiple clinics and manage competing priorities
* A collaborative team player who thrives in a close-knit environment
