About the Role
The Finance Coordinator is the primary finance function within the business, and is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and managing the daily flow of financial activity across the business.
The role requires someone who is a self-starter, who can step in confidently, work at pace and keep information current, organised and reliable.
Responsibilities include managing AR, AP, assisting with payroll, onboarding and maintaining supplier information and finance-related correspondence across our inboxes and internal systems.
You will liaise with our bookkeepers and accountants to keep information current and ensure everything is ready for reporting and review.
You will also work closely with the managing director, commercial manager and wider team to maintain steady financial control and provide clear, reliable information for decision-making.
About You

As a minimum, we are looking for someone with experience in financial administration within a commercial setting, with experience using modern, cloud-based accounting and operational systems.
Knowledge or experience working within a construction setting is desirable.
You should be comfortable managing transactional detail, preparing financial reporting, and maintaining accurate, well-organised financial information.
Strong attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication, professionalism, discretion and time management skills are critical.
You must be comfortable working across both macOS and Windows environments, with solid capability in Microsoft Office.
Reliability and a strong work ethic are expected, along with the unrestricted right to work in Australia.
Your CV should clearly demonstrate the systems and processes you have worked with.
