Young Adult Support Specialist
This role provides individualized support to young adults (18-24) who experience housing instability and/or homelessness, meeting their immediate needs and assisting with identifying and maintaining safe and appropriate housing.
The Young Adult Navigator works collaboratively with enrolled participants and CoC partners to chart a rapid pathway out of shelter and into safe permanent housing. They assist participants with determining program and housing eligibility, program enrollment, housing coordination with local Public Housing Authorities, other community housing organizations, and through private landlord engagement.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 – 5:00pm
This is a non-exempt position with a minimum-starting wage $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree with specialization in social, behavioral, or human services
* At least one year professionally supervised work in mental health, chemical dependency and/or social services
* Lived experience of homelessness and/or housing instability
* Embodiment of the diverse identities of young adults who experience homelessness
