We are seeking a highly skilled individual to support the financial operations of a state-wide defence contract, covering multiple bases.
 * Preparing and maintaining accurate financial reports, statements, and records is crucial to our success. As a Finance Support professional, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
 * You will assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to help us make informed business decisions.
 * Overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes is another key responsibility, as is conducting financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
 * You will also play a vital role in monitoring and controlling costs, supporting contract management, including billing and reconciliation, and assisting with internal and external audits.
About You
We require an individual with a tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, and 3+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in a defence or government contracting environment.
You should have a strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations, proficiency in financial software and tools, and experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
Australian citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance is essential.
