Verification Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Verification Specialist to join our team, working from Tullamarine Airport and the Melbourne office.
You will play a critical role in testing and identifying defects, collaborating closely with developers, product managers and designers to deliver high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities:
* Verify System Engineering Change Requests (ECRs): Define test procedures and associated scenarios to ensure seamless system integration.
* Conduct Verification and Performance Tests: Participate in Integrated Block Builds (IBB) testing to guarantee software quality.
* Validate Problem Change Reports (PCRs): Coordinate with other Engineering teams to resolve defects and improve system performance.
* Record Test Results and Prepare PCRs: Utilize databases to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* An Engineering or Science degree (Computer, Engineering, Aerospace) and/or interest in Air Space.
* Air Traffic Management domain knowledge.
* A clear understanding of Verification & Validation processes.
* Experience in the total life cycle of software development.
* Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English.
* Knowledge in Operating Systems (UNIX, Linux, Windows).
