About This Role
This is a pivotal position where you will play a key role in shaping the brand and marketing strategy for our company.
As Strategic Marketing Director, you will be responsible for developing our brand identity, marketing calendar, and performance strategy across organic, paid, and CRM channels.
This is a full-time hybrid role, with our HQ based in Burleigh Heads.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage the daily and monthly marketing calendar to ensure timely and strategic roll-out of campaigns and offers.
* Set and track the marketing budget, ensuring that all activities remain within financial constraints while maximising ROI.
* Lead on the go-to-market strategy for all initiatives, ensuring team alignment between product, operations, and marketing.
* Track and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns (paid, email, organic), analysing key metrics against KPIs to inform future strategies.
* Manage the advertising budget, including but not limited to Meta, TikTok ads, Google ads, and any other relevant channels.
* Manage the relationship with the external performance marketing agency, ensuring CAC, MER, and ROAS goals are met.
* Oversee the content strategy and execution for paid ads, organic social, and website assets, ensuring that all content aligns with brand voice and campaign goals.
* Own paid partnerships, ensuring partners are aligned with brand, content meets deliverable expectations, and budget guardrails are not exceeded.
* Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator to build out monthly partnership strategies that foster brand relationships and drive content creation.
* Lead the strategy and execution of email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
* Analyse ESP platforms and determine the best platform based on a combination of cost, features, and integrations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 4+ years of marketing experience in the e-commerce space. Experience in the fashion industry preferred.
* Experience managing paid channels (Meta, TikTok, Google) or performance agencies, with a deep understanding of how data and creative intertwine to optimise results while remaining on-brand.
* Understanding of key performance metrics, including trade and paid channel metrics such as CAC, MER, and ROAS.
* Experience with end-to-end management of CRM tools (Klaviyo preferred).
* Experience managing content creation with a strong creative vision, confidence to take risks, and ability to stay on top of social trends.
* Experience managing influencers and partnerships, ensuring brand alignment and growth in brand awareness while staying within budget guardrails.
* Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to provide valuable and actionable insights.
