The Department of Justice is seeking a Psychologist to join their team on a fixed-term, full-time basis for 12 months, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency, subject to business requirements.

About The Role

As a Psychologist in this role, you will be part of a small, dedicated team working to promote the mental health and wellbeing of staff across the Department of Justice. Your work will contribute to safer, healthier workplaces.

What You'll Be Doing

* Providing psychological support following critical incidents.
* Delivering training and psychoeducation to staff and managers.
* Offering guidance on workplace wellbeing matters.
* Supporting staff involved in coronial inquests and other court proceedings.
* Contributing to the Department's Health, Safety and Wellbeing Strategy.
* Liaising with external agencies to support service delivery.

Eligibility

Qualifications – successful applicants must possess an approved four-year degree in Psychology AND current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Permanent positions – To be eligible for appointment to permanent positions in the West Australian Public Sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status in Australia.
