Salary & Working Hours

* $32.34 per hour + 25% loading (does not attract penalty rates) + super
* Hours of work are Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday 6am – 2.30pm, Saturday 4.30am - 8.30am, Sunday 4.30am - 8.30am and Wednesday off.

Join a team that helps keep the Rural City of Wangaratta looking its best. We are seeking a Facilities Cleaner who takes pride in their work and enjoys being hands‐on. This role is all about making our public spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for the community. Every day, your work will be seen, appreciated, and make a real difference to residents and visitors alike.

As a Facilities Cleaner, you will play an important part in maintaining the standard of our public amenities. If you enjoy working outdoors, value quality, and like seeing the results of your efforts, this is a great opportunity to contribute to the presentation and wellbeing of our city.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist the Senior Facilities Cleaner to maintain public amenities to a high standard
* Operate motorised cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
* Maintain accurate records, including timesheets, inspection logs, and maintenance updates
* Ensure all facilities meet Rural City of Wangaratta cleanliness and safety requirements
