3 year full time, fixed term opportunity Lead transformative change across the University’s flagship Academic Excellence Program Offering a competitive remuneration package including 17% superannuation About the opportunity As the Senior Manager Change, Academic Excellence Program, you will lead the design and delivery of transformative change initiatives that support the University’s strategic vision for academic excellence. You will translate the program’s ambitions into actionable change plans, orchestrate integrated stakeholder engagement, and build institutional capability to embed and sustain new ways of working across the academic lifecycle. Operating at a senior level, you will guide a team of professionals, manage cross‑portfolio dependencies, and ensure the University is equipped for successful long‑term adoption of major reforms. Your key responsibilities will be to: translate the overarching change management vision into operational plans provide leadership in the implementation of change initiatives to ensure alignment and integration direct comprehensive risk assessments and address change‑related vulnerabilities champion University readiness for major changes to minimise disruption oversee the development of a capability‑building framework to future‑proof the institution refine stakeholder engagement methodologies and strengthen continuous feedback mechanisms drive strategic direction for reporting and maintain high standards of legislative and accreditation compliance champion optimal use of resources across the work area to enhance efficiency and service delivery mentor and support the professional team, fostering continuous development and operational excellence manage staff performance, development and career progression lead risk management and WHS initiatives, ensuring compliance and audit readiness actively support the co-ordination of change activities across the university, as required. About you extensive experience delivering change management in complex, large‑scale transformation programs strong exposure to change management methodologies and organisational change frameworks proven ability to manage and influence politically sensitive stakeholder groups postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field, or equivalent training and experience excellent program management and planning skills, with strong understanding of project lifecycles, standards and methodologies ability to translate strategic direction into effective operational practice demonstrated strategic thinking, organisational planning and resource management capability strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a capacity to lead effectively in complex environments.
