Junior Event Coordinator
As a Junior Event Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to turn our core values into memorable experiences for clients and delegates. You will work side-by-side with senior event managers to gain hands-on exposure to high-level board meetings, large-scale conferences, and incentive programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with project leads to ensure event briefs are fully understood and logistically sound, providing proactive solutions when necessary.
* Establish accurate systems and processes from the outset to ensure timely and error-free event management.
* Maintain accurate files and budgets to adhere to deadlines.
* Negotiate and manage hotel, transport, and other program components to ensure accuracy and seamlessness.
* Process delegate data accurately, including travel and accommodation details.
* Respond to client queries professionally and within agreed timeframes.
* Confirm all arrangements, including transportation, accommodation, conferencing, dinners, tours, team-building, and other events requirements.
* Maintain a service level framework based on professional service principles.
* Build strong relationships with project team members to foster a successful working environment.
Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year demonstrated event management experience.
* Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and events software.
* Exceptional attention to detail and good time management skills.
* Professional communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Understanding of the MICE industry.
