* Salary from $113,574 to $125,720 + super and leave loading
In response to the current fuel security situation in NSW, the Energy, Climate Change and Sustainability Group has established the Liquid Fuels and Energy Operations Centre.
We are seeking to fill an Energy Analyst role to provide analysis, design and develop data analytics and reporting to enable data insights to inform decisions including daily metrics, trends, risks, and scenario implications.
About You
Core capabilities required are:
* Good Excel skills
* Experience building simple dashboards, trackers or situation reports
* Experience in working closely with planning professionals and chief-of-staff to support decision cadence
* Experience with operational reporting, forecasting, supply chain and/or market data
* Any energy/fuels/logistics exposure would be a plus
* Comfort working with imperfect data under time pressure
Deep subject matter expertise in liquid fuels or energy systems is not essential. What is more important is the ability to quickly understand context, integrate into a team, and contribute effectively within a dynamic operational environment.
Essential requirements
* Qualifications or relevant experience in mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, information management, finance, economics, or another relevant discipline.
