About the Role
The Screening Services Officer is responsible for providing a high level of support to our clients and staff at screening and assessment clinics. This includes answering general enquiries, booking appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide a friendly and efficient reception service to clients and staff.
* Book clients for screening mammogram appointments in a busy call centre environment.
* Answer general enquiries and client requests for information in accordance with established guidelines, procedures, and policies.
* Maintain accurate medical records, including entering client information, symptoms, and family history into the electronic client information system.
* Process, distribute, and coordinate digital radiographic images for reading by radiologists.
* Prepare client files for multi-disciplinary review meetings.
* Liaise with health professionals on day-to-day administrative issues.
* Organise the retrieval of client paper files from archives as required.
* Type medical imaging reports from digital dictation transcription software.
* Participate in quality and safety processes, including training and improvement initiatives.
