About the role
* Partner with leaders to deliver workforce plans, culture uplift and people solutions
* Analyse workforce data, spot trends and drive practical HR outcomes
* Support change, organisational design and capability uplift to meet business goals
The People Business Partner provides high quality support to enable the delivery of divisional people strategy and initiatives including strategic workforce planning, culture and engagement programs and organisational design and change.

* Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and experience.
* A valid Working With Children Check for paid employment.
* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
