Job Title: Aeronautical Product Technician
About the Role
This exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to undertake an apprenticeship in avionics. As part of our team, you will be employed in a workshop environment where you will work on projects that contribute to the defence of our nation.
You will be involved in undertaking training requirements and maintaining apprenticeship progression and journal currency to successfully complete a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics).
Your Key Responsibilities
* Provide assistance and perform maintenance tasks to facilitate repair, service and overhaul of aeronautical product within the Australian Defence Force technical airworthiness guidelines;
* Ensure safe work practices are followed and observe relevant Work, Health and Safety regulations and procedures;
* Ensure technical, quality and regulatory compliance is conducted and maintained to meet Defence Aviation Safety Regulations and ISO certifications.
To be successful in this role, you must have successfully completed all theory training requirements of a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) delivered by a recognised training provider. A willingness to learn with genuine interest and passion for the role is required. Effective communication skills and a teamwork mindset are also essential.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required as well as being an Australian citizen or eligible to obtain it.
