My role currently focuses on equipment prescription and home modifications to support client’s safety and independence at home. I will soon be working with NDIS participants and developing my skills in this area. There is opportunity for me to pursue areas of interest and work with a variety of NDIS participants, such as pediatrics, complex physical disability, mental health, or outreach.Throughout the new grad program, the progression and client load has been continuously reviewed with my supervisor to ensure it is suitable for my learning and capabilities. I receive formal weekly supervision but have opportunity to ask questions when needed throughout the week. There is also a very supportive, open, and positive environment in the office, and everyone is approachable to ask questions.
