The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As Night Manager, you'll deliver this from the outset, creating the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home after dark, whilst also auditing our front office operations, ensuring smooth management and functioning of this key department.
A little taste of your day‐to‐day
Directing and overseeing overnight hotel operations including reception, reservations, room service and housekeeping coordination.
Managing the Night Audit process, financial reconciliations, end‐of‐day reporting and cash control procedures.
Supervising outlet closures and ensuring accurate accounting of revenue and discrepancies.
Leading and supervising front office and overnight team members, including training, coaching and performance oversight.
Managing complex guest requests, complaints and service recovery decisions with full operational authority.
Supervising security arrangements and conducting property safety checks to ensure the protection of guests, staff and assets.
Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing laws, company policies, brand standards and workplace health and safety regulations.
Monitoring customer satisfaction and implementing service improvements where required.
Coordinating with food and beverage, housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure operational continuity.
Preparing operational and financial reports for senior management review.
Providing guests with local tourism information and coordinating transport or other services as required.
You will act as the senior hotel representative overnight, maintaining operational control and decision‐making authority in the absence of executive management.

What we need from you
Experience in a Night Manager, Duty Manager or equivalent hotel management role within a property of similar size and standard.
Demonstrated experience overseeing hotel operations and financial reporting processes.
Proven leadership and team supervision capability.
Strong knowledge of hotel compliance requirements including WHS and liquor regulations.
Experience managing service recovery and complex operational issues.
Strong organisational, communication and decision‐making skills.
Familiarity with PMS systems (Opera Cloud preferred).
Flexibility to work a rotating night roster including weekends and public holidays.
Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management (or at least three years of relevant industry experience in lieu of formal qualification).
