About the role:

The turnout team is currently seeking a Coordinator to join them on a 14 days on, 14 days off roster, flying from Perth to the Roy Hill Mine. Reporting to the Supervisor Turnout Maintenance you will be responsible for coordinating and leading the team in the execution of daily activities. Providing strong leadership and technical expertise, the incumbent will ensure strict compliance with Hancock Iron Ore Rail Network standards and apply appropriate maintenance processes and procedures for both planned and reactive turnout maintenance activities.

Duties:

* Promptly report all safety, health and environmental incidents, investigate those in your area of responsibility and action within targeted timeframes
* Provide safety leadership to all maintenance personnel including subcontractors and reinforce the risk based behavioural safety system
* Lead and coordinate quality workplace inspections to identify faults, hazards and plans are in place to rectify
* Monitor asset performance against the required level of reliability and availability, ensuring adequate materials and supplies are available for carrying out tasks efficiently

Skills and Experience:

* Cert II in Rail Infrastructure
* Appointed person section 22 trained
* Level 5 Safe working or the ability to acquire
* Demonstrated experience in track or civil coordinator/leading hand role
