We are a well-established Drilling Company seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse & Logistics Officer to manage our warehouse operations and logistics support for drilling projects.
ABOUT THE JOB
This role is critical in ensuring drilling equipment, tools, consumables, and spare parts are accurately stored, tracked, and delivered to site on time.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8AM to 5PM.
(This may vary depending on operational needs, flexibility is a must).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of drilling equipment and materials
* An ability to communicate and follow up with suppliers on outstanding purchase orders.
* Maintain accurate inventory records for drilling tools, consumables, and spare parts.
* Coordinate logistics and transport of equipment to and from drilling sites.
* Prepare and maintain delivery dockets and inventory documentation.
* Conduct regular stocktakes and reconcile discrepancies.
* Monitor condition of equipment and report damages or shortages.
* Maintain good supplier relationships.
* Ensure safe handling and storage of heavy, hazardous, or high-value drilling equipment.
* Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organisation of the warehouse
* Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
ABOUT YOU - Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
* Strong inventory management and record-keeping skills.
* Experience coordinating transport and site deliveries.
* Ability to handle heavy equipment and high-pressure logistics environments.
* Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
* Competent in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
* Strong organisational and communication skills – both verbal and written
* Ability to follow instructions/procedures and take direction
* Ability to work both unsupervised and/or as part of a team
* Ability to multi-task;
* Physically fit and experienced with lifting 20kgs+ regularly, forklift & other manual labour tasks
* Committed team player; Brining a positive, "can do" attitude to the workplace every day
KEY REQUIREMENTS
* "LF" class High Risk Forklift License & relevant experience (essential)
* Current "C Class" Manual Driver's License (preferred) – Automatic could be considered for the right applicant prior to obtaining Manual.
* Current First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
* National Police Clearance (dated within 6 months or willing to obtain)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
* Experience in the Drilling Industry - highly regarded (knowledge of drill rigs, equipment, parts etc);
* Currently reside in Western Australia (WA), preferably close to Canning Vale with full (non-restricted) working rights
