About the role
We're seeking an experienced Hotel/Pub Licensee / Venue Manager to take full operational control of Gold Coast Tavern, Bundall.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is ready to take ownership of a well-performing venue, with the opportunity to elevate it even further. You'll be leading from the front, driving performance, building a strong team culture and delivering an exceptional guest experience every day.
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Oversee all venue operations including food & beverage, gaming, TAB, and entertainment
* Lead, develop and inspire front-of-house, kitchen and management teams
* Drive revenue growth through promotions, events and standout customer service
* Ensure full compliance with Liquor Act, Gaming regulations and company policies
* Manage financial reporting, cash reconciliations and daily operational performance
* Maintain high service standards while fostering a positive, high-performing culture
* Identify new opportunities to grow revenue and enhance the venue offering
* Oversee rostering, staff development and performance management

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* 6+ years' experience in food & beverage management within quality hotel venues
* Proven leadership experience with a focus on team development and culture
* Strong understanding of gaming and TAB operations
* Solid financial acumen and experience with reporting and cash management
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Current RSA, RSG and relevant hospitality qualifications
* A hands-on, accountable leadership style
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
