Are you ready to lead field operations and drive high-quality geophysical surveys across Australia?
Fender Geophysics is seeking a Survey Manager to join our team in Perth. This is a hands-on leadership role at the forefront of geophysical exploration, where you will manage survey crews, ensure data quality, and deliver projects safely and efficiently across our Near Surface (NSG) and Minerals Exploration (MinEx) divisions.
What You'll Do
* Lead and supervise daily field operations, ensuring safety, productivity, and team cohesion.
* Plan and execute surveys by translating project designs into practical workflows.
* Ensure data quality through first-pass QA/QC to meet and exceed company standards.
* Drive safety and compliance by leading toolbox meetings, risk assessments, and incident reporting.
* Communicate effectively between the field crew and Project Manager, keeping projects on schedule and clients informed.
* Mentor and support crew members, fostering teamwork, engagement, and professional growth.
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor's degree in Geophysics or Geosciences, with a minimum of 5 years' field experience.
* Proven leadership skills with experience managing crews in remote environments.
* Commitment to a safety-first culture, compliance, and high-quality data delivery.
* Ability to problem-solve under pressure and adapt to changing field conditions.
* Excellent communication skills and client-focused professionalism.
