The Role: MJD Recruitment is delighted to partner with a prestigious national commercial law firm to recruit a Legal Assistant supporting two Partners and their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal support professional to join a collaborative and high-performing team. You will gain exposure to complex commercial matters while developing your legal administration and organisational skills in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Drafting and formatting legal documents, court documents, affidavits, subpoenas and briefs to counsel Managing file openings, conflict checks and matter administration Assisting with billing, timesheets and expense processing Managing diaries, court dates and travel arrangements Liaising with clients, barristers and internal stakeholders Managing inboxes and correspondence to ensure smooth workflow About You Minimum 6 months’ experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Administrator Experience working within a law firm environment preferred Strong organisation, communication and attention to detail Experience with legal systems such as iManage, Aderant, Elite 3E, LEAP or Chrome River is highly regarded Ability to manage deadlines and support a busy legal team Apply If you are looking to grow your legal career within a well-respected national law firm, we would love to hear from you.
