We have a full time opportunity for a Law Clerk to join our Road Disputes Team in Melbourne.As part of this specialised and dedicated team, you will play a key role in managing all aspects of dispute applications lodged against adverse decisions made by the TAC that impact our clients' statutory entitlements.
Under supervision of the Team Leader, you will be responsible for processing and litigating disputes throughout the appeal process.Manage and progress individual files with proficiencyCommunication with clients including explanation of legal concepts, obtaining instructions and managing expectationsReviewing and analysing liability and quantum material and requesting further materialDrafting of legal and client correspondence and documentsDeveloping understanding of strategy used in similar mattersThe Experience We Are Looking ForThis is an excellent opportunity for a current Senior Legal Assistant or Law Clerk looking to challenge themselves.
We are seeking someone with experience with the TAC scheme and exposure to the dispute resolution process would be an advantage.
