Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll play a key role by safely operating machinery to support the efficient processing of scrap metal. We're looking for safety-focused individuals to join our Port Hedland team on a 2-week on, 1-week off FIFO roster—an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and advance within a dynamic and forward-thinking company.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Load & unload trucks, skip bins and trailers
· Operate equipment, including Front-end Loader and/or excavator (where licenced)
· General labour duties (including upkeep of machinery and performing hot works)
· Ensure customers receive a high level of service
· Grading and sorting materials
· Demonstrating personal responsibility for and commitment to OH&S policies and procedures
Essential Criteria:
* Current and valid car licence (C Class)
* Front-end Loader (LL), Excavator (LE) licences (or a willingness to learn)
* Pass Pre-Employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screening
* Ability to work independently
* A can-do attitude, you will be open to undertaking training in order to diversify your skills
* Excellent attendance, reliability and attention to detail
